For the Love of Snow

Hello loves! I hope you enjoyed Monday's guest post. In case you missed it, click here to check it out.
Today's OOTD pictures were taken two Sundays ago. That was one of the days of the snow storm weekend, on my side of Minnesota.

Honestly, I'm not the best when it comes to explaining why I chose an outfit.  Most times, I have several outfits hung on my closet door. So, when I have to go somewhere, all I have to do is add or take away item(s) from that look, to suit my mood or the occasion. The look above was one of those outfits.

I also try on several outfits during the week, to see what will work and what won't. For me, it's all about preparation. I like being 'ready', although sometimes I'd have to change something about an outfit. I try my best not to be caught 'unaware' when it comes to being dressed. Haha. It doesn't always work out like that! :(

What I'm wearing:
Jean Jacket: Thrifted
Top: Thrifted
Skirt (last seen here): JcPenney
Necklace: Gifted (worn for my Grandma's 70th Birthday)
Wedge Booties: Target

Do you plan your outfits?

Take care! :)

  5. I just love this outfit, everything look so nice together, that skirt is great!! I like that high bun too :)
Regarding software, photoshop is unfortunately not free except if you use the free trial or get it in not so legal ways haha, but there is Gimp which is free and also pretty good!
Photofiltre also is nice! I mean it's pretty basic but it's a good one too!

  7. I really love the pictures in the snow, that skirt is too fab! I always plan my outfits, but most of the times, it's always in my head...LOL. As for the Photo Editing Software, I use Picasa and sometimes Photoscape.

  10. Hey girl,
We are the same in a way, nothing can stop me from taking pictures when I have decided that it is on my "To Do list"!
Artistic pictures because of the snow and don't worry about the background.
I have also been looking for programs to edit my pictures especially the ones I take at night! If you find it,help a sister!
I like your outfit especially the skirt because of the geometric prints!Nice post.
    Blessings!

  12. I like those colors, this skirt is cute. For the softwares photofiltre is very good but requires a little training photoscape is one of the easiest one to use! But still it depends of what kind of editing you want to do.
